The Hollywood Fringe Festival produces a festival tee every year. It becomes a collector's item and iconic for that year's fringe.
Shirts utilize one or many of the festival mascots ("the freaks"). We are including an attachment to this contest detailing the general form of the freaks.
Note: It's critical that you bring your own vision to the freaks and not re-use previous artist visions. They still need to be recognizable, but feel free to bring your own unique twist to them.
We are also attaching designs for previous shirts.
NOTE: More colors make the shirt more expensive to produce. So we'd prefer designs with as few colors as possible.
We are the largest performing arts (theatre/dance/cabaret/etc) festival in the Western US. To date, we have presented over 1,500 shows and thousands of performances. We are an "open access" festival meaning anyone can participate. We attract experienced touring artists, local companies trying an experimental work and emerging artists honing their craft.
The original Fringe was presented in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1947; since them fringe festivals have sprung up all across the world. Here's more information on Fringes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fringe_festival

Requirements
The year "2017" and the name "Hollywood Fringe Festival" must be included on the shirt. You needn't use the actual logo, but we've included it for your reference and optional use.
This is a one sided shirt. Front only.
Extra points for artists who can produce a compelling design with as few colors as possible.
All designs must be vector graphical images.
What to avoid
Avoid recycling older images of the mascots. This is your opportunity to develop your own representation.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
