Description
I want my beef jerky packet designed and a display box for the beef jerky packets to go into to be designed as well.
Beef Jerky is a competitive market in Australia and a genuine ‘grab and go’ product that generally sits at the point of sale area and most stores will sell 3 or 4 brands side by side. Although our beef jerky tastes fantastic we need people to try it to believe it! That leaves the packaging to do all the selling! More importantly our packet needs to jump out and grab YOU. As a consumer this packet is the one that you will want to purchase. Lets move away from the old school traditional beef jerky packaging and introduce a new modern and fresh approach to this age old product. We have no set colour scheme or logo so this is a clean fresh palette for you all to work on.

Ingredients: lean grass fed beef, soy sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, brown sugar, pepper.
Bald Rock Beef Jerky™ is made from lean grass fed Australian beef marinated and dried using the ancient drying process to preserve and create the beef jerky. In 2001 I created my original recipe which was in high demand from university friends. It was with this encouragement that my manufacturing went from being charitable into a commercial business.
Shelf stable meat snack. Store in a cool dry place. Store in a refrigerator for extended life.

Other Information;
Target market – equally males and females of all ages.
In my market research I have found a lot of the packets to be too masculine oriented and I want to avoid this.
In addition to the packet design I need a super cool and fun display box designed. It could have a flip top lid (perforation edges) which pops out to become the backing on the display shelf in the retail shop. The backing design could be something quirky to grab people’s attention. Ideas Welcomed! This box will be used to send packets of beef jerky to the shops. The shop in turn will use the box to display the beef jerky in. The display box dimensions are 140mm x 210mm x 120mm (depth). This is so about 20 packets can fit comfortably into the box one on top of the other.
The pieces of beef jerky will be approximately 7cm long and 2cm wide. (See attached photo for example).
Make sure there is a window pane in the front or back so people can see the product.
Put a small Australian map symbol with ‘30g’ inside it.

Other notes
Be as creative as you can. Make my packaging different and better that any other beef jerky packet on the market. I want my packaging to stand out from all the rest. I want everyone to pick my packet. The packaging does not necessarily have to keep to these exact dimensions and it does not necessarily have to keep to the standard rectangle shape of every other beef jerky packet on the market. The packaging can be out of the ordinary.
Remember I need both a beef jerky packet designed and the display box to go with it.
