Description of the organization and its target audience
We are a new database consulting services company, targeting anyone needing database performance improvements whether it be on-premise or in the cloud.
I'm looking for a new take on the database icon... something new...something different...the database icon is typically 3 round disks...be creative...
I'd want someone looking at it to know it's a database...but not be the normal database icon...if that makes sense...something modern...
Maybe utilize the initials and incorporate that into a logo?
I want to immediately be able to tell that the logo has to do with databases.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
