We like the design we have somewhat, we want it to work on both a black and white background. Should show what trade we do in some way but not something simple like a flame or snowflake unless is more elaborate. Definitely going to be used for truck and business cards and letterhead. Would be nice if looked a little more like us but not a must. Pictures of tools or equipment are also something we may like but looking for creativity

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
