Description of the organization and its target audience
We are a software development company founded in Austin, Texas (The Lone Star State). We have always struggled with our logo because of the long name for our company. We are fine using a logo mark and the name is not required. Ideally, our logo would be able to stand alone or be included with our business name. We like the idea of an abstract logo. We would like this to be able to be used in a variety of ways on the website.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
