I'm hoping for a logo that can be used in both vertical and horizontal configurations. - Horizontal meaning rectangular, where any non-text insignia design is prefixed to the text.
Vertical meaning square, where the non-text insignia portion is above the text and larger.
I'd like to see a futuristic Cyberpunk style
or
I'd like to see some sort of Spaceman style
Really open to ideas on this, but Cyberpunk is a great theme to work with.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
