C.welby got their new wordpress theme design by running a design contest:

"PermaTrucking" is an effort to bring the principles of PermaCulture to the Trucking Industry. We aim to highlight examples, case studies, etc that showcase efforts in the Trucking Industry to create a more sustainable planet for all humans. Our Focus will be to show examples in the area of Green Trucking Technology, Whole Systems Design, Human Wellness, Art and High Vibe Foods. The site will be a meeting place for ideas and collaboration.
Brief Updated 9/28/15 To all, Thank you all for your hard work based on what little feedback we’ve given thus far. We have decided to extend the contest another three days in order to give more specific feedback and allow you all to respond to this feedback. My overall vision of the site from top to bottom is as follows: On the Front page I would like to see the permatrucking logo in the upper left corner. To the right of the PermaTrucking logo, I would like to see links to: Our Vision - leads to a separate page of the site which I will describe below in detail Technology - Blog content category Systems - Blog content category People - Blog content category Beauty - Blog content category small links to social media in the upper right corner Below the categories, I would like to see a visual banner with three interchanging photos that rotate. I would like those photos to be, in this order: The blue truck photo from design #14, The greenhouse photo from design #9, The road, mountain & water photo from design # 23, As these 4 photos scroll, I want to see an overlayed message. I would like the message to stay on the left side as it is in design example #55. I do not want to see the Get Started button, just the messaging. I would like the message to remain static through all 4 photos. I would like it to say “Delivering a Better Future” with subtext to be determined. I do not want this to be built into the photos, but rather an overlay and an easy-to-edit feature of the site. We want the messaging to be flexible. This is a blog site. The main purpose of the site is to attract people who will read, comment, contribute and share. The site will eventually be built around wordpress with various contributing writers. For this reason, I want to the remaining space of the front page (below the banner photos) to be dedicated to content. I want all blog content to be displayed in some type of a tile preview form where site visitors can see content at-a-glance much like pinterest. If visitors want to drill down into specific categories, they can choose from the pillars at the top of the page: technology, systems, people or beauty. At the bottom of the front page (after the content) I want to see exactly the same design as the bottom of design #23. I love the grain photo in the background with the Join our mission and the site application and site map at the very bottom. The “Our Vision” Page - I would like the “our vision” page to emulate the top half of #53 with the farm table, the woman with the groceries, the “our vision” and the “our mission” sections. That’s it. While I do like the visual overlay of the three circles over the farm table, the messaging of “green trucking, organic food and green environment” will be interchanged with messaging to be determined.
High resolution image of farming, agriculture and trucking followed by blog content in a tile/newspaper form - think WSJ or NYT
