Animal & Pet
Doggy's Delight is a pet care company serving the Washington, D.C. area. Doggy's Delight offers dog walking, pet sitting, and overnight sitting services. In 2014, the company's service offerings will expand to include dog training, and our company is looking for a webpage design that will allow us to easily incorporate the addition of this new dog training service on to our website without disrupting the site's feel. Although there are many dog walking companies, Doggy's Delight is one of only a few pet service companies in the area that maintains a certification in dog walking. This distinction, in addition to our emphasis on humane training approaches, sets Doggy's Delight apart from our competitors. Our relationship with our customers is built on three principles: -Trust in our company as a knowledgeable resource; -Customer service; and -Convenience. Doggy's Delight's services are designed for people who have busy schedules (due to work, school, travel, social activities, etc.), and live in apartments, and town houses. These customers are not home enough to provide their dogs and other pets with the attention they need. Also, because our clients and their pets live in smaller homes, they need dog walking services to ensure their pets receive proper exercise and interaction with other animals. It is also important to note that most of our clients are college educated working professionals, and it is very important that the website appeal to this type of consumer.
Our company's colors are green, white and purple (see our logo attached). They should all be incorporated into the website page layout. Colors should be soothing, and appealing, and not too bright. Underneath the navigation bar there should be a rectangular picture of an actual dog that is happy (a person may be in this picture as well). The page layout should contain space for one - two additional pictures of dogs on the page. Pictures of dogs in nature (playing in grass, on the beach, in the park, etc.) with or without people would be ideal. Website content font should ideally be in "Arial". Our logo with font is attached.
Our company is looking for one page layout design that can be used for the following website content pages: -Home: Will provide introduction of the company; and peak the interest of site visitors to search more of the site. The home page will also contain the following content (preferably on a side bar): "Why Us?" and beneath this "Upcoming Events" (see home page at: denisemazzola.com). -About Us: Will share information about why the company was founded, and our goals. -Services: A description of the services we offer and our company's rates -FAQ: Frequently asked questions. -Contact Us: our email address, phone number, and a dialogue box for people to send emails to our company directly from our website. -Customer Login: This will be a tab in the center of the page that when clicked will take customers to a separate login screen. -Join our Team!: This will be a Questionnaire for prospective staff. The header (common section on all pages of website) should have: -Our company's logo -A navigation bar with seven sections (Home, About Us, Services, FAQ, Contact Us, Customer Login, Join Our Team!) -Our phone number and email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) The Footer (common section on all pages of website) should have: -Icons of our professional associations -The copyright "C" and "2012 - 2013 all rights reserved" The page layout should also incorporate pictures of real dogs. These can be pictures of dogs by themselves or with people. The dogs and the people should look happy, and convey a sense of enjoyment.
