2 website templates (home page & inside page) are needed for the re-design of an international children's charitable organization. This organization operates primarily in India, Haiti and Africa.
What's your vision?
TEMPLATES NEEDED: Home page - approximately 770px or 1000px wide Inside page - approximately 770px or 1000px wide If a 1000px layout is used, is should be done in a way that users with 800x600px resolutions can still see most important content elements. Templates will be used with a fixed width CSS layout NAVIGATION: Navigation choices should include Home, About Us, Sponsorship, Projects, Get Involved, Gift Catalog, Contact Us CONTENT FOR HOME PAGE: should be similar to http://www.samaritanspurse.org DESIGN SPECS: We cannot give you the exact logo at this time, so just use the name "Day of Hope International" as a place holder for where the logo should go. Initially, both designs that have modern Web 2.0 elements and designs that are more earthy/multicultural/international in look and appeal will be considered. Designs should be clean, have good use of whitespace, and use images strategically. If you can find royalty free photos to use in the design, that would be ideal. If not, we can probably swap out "borrowed/copied" photos with our own once the design files have been submitted to us. Use the best quality photos that you can find. This organization operates primarily in India and Africa so the images of children in the prototypes should reflect this. WEBSITES WE LIKE: http://samaritanspurse.org http://www.dalitnetwork.org/ COLOR SCHEME: We do not have a particular color scheme in mind. The logo colors can be adapted to fit the wining color scheme. FONTS: prefer serif for large headings and sans-serif for paragraph text and smaller headings. COMPANY/BRAND NAME: Day of Hope International TAG LINE: Giving hope to one child at a time. FILE FORMATS: Photoshop .psd or Fireworks .png (preferred) FIRST PRIZE: $400 (A smaller second and third prize may be awarded depending on quality and effort put into final designs.) PAYMENT METHOD: PayPal, Western Union, Electronic Transfer, Credit Card NOTES: We will do our best to post feedback in this thread at least every day. We also reserve the right to skip a day of feedback if we get really busy. Please submit only original work.
