What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Clean, modern, flat, and eye-catching. We can try to use some of the old design elements for inspiration such as the old logo and/or colors and fonts. Although re-work from the ground up would be acceptable too.
The home-page should have a top nav bar with the current link categories (as in the existing site), dropdown capetabilities for sub-items, logo in the upper left, and shopping cart in the upper right. Above-the-fold content should feature a large area display featured products, perhaps in a carousel as in canvaspop.com. We want the homepage to be divided into horizontal sections allowing the user to scroll down and see products and company talking points.
1) Home/landing page - Dominant area is main product display. Divided into horizontal sections with prominent call-to-action buttons encouraging users to build a product or view more information (such as pricing or examples).
2) Product builder - Since this page has multiple "Views" I made it count for 2 pages. See the current Postrgram site (or screenshots) or http://www.canvaspop.com/collage-bu….VJdapsBjY for an example. The product builder for mosaics is a 3 step walkthrough. 1st the user selects their main image, then they select the sub images (can select multiple, or all images in this step) then they get a preview generated and they can choose different mosaic settings and re-generate the preview if they wish. Finally, they can select a size and add to cart.
What to avoid
** Important: Although the current site only creates photo mosaics the new site will have several different products. Therefore although it is OK to incorporate photo-mosaic type elements into the design, it should not be the dominant theme.
As part of the homepage redesign we would like to revamp the current logo to modernize it and fit within the new design.
If this project goes well there may be additional pages to design 1-on-1
