CORE Research Team
CORE is headed by Dr. Nathan Grant Smith in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at McGill University. The goals of CORE are:
To explore the ways in which coping processes are related to resilience and well-being
To provide undergraduate and graduate students with opportunities to engage in all aspects of the research process
To disseminate scientific findings to community stakeholders and policy makers.
CORE’s research activities are grounded in theories of stress and coping, health behavior, and counselling and development. Our research primarily focuses on two populations: lesbian, gay, and bisexual individuals and people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Our goal is to explore the ways in which these two groups’ unique strengths and stressors interact with coping strategies to influence well-being.
CORE strives to provide students with expert training in the conduct and dissemination of research. Undergraduate and graduate students with interest in coping and resilience, especially coping and resilience among our populations of interest, are welcome, regardless of discipline. Indeed, multidisciplinary research is one of CORE’s primary values.

Although we have three pages I am thinking that a nice solid design will be able to be used on each of the pages.
Home - Is the overview of the research team
Research - Highlights the research the team is currently conducting. We want to have abstracts and when clicked a full view of the research articles.
People - List the people who are part of the CORE research team. Some members have photos while others do not.
Our need: Our website ( http://www.coreresearchteam.com/) is old and quite frankly not that sexy. We need a new look. The website is dated, doesn't really give students, researchers, and professionals the professional yet sexy feel. We are very open to colors we just want it to be clean and simple.
We are open to colors and layouts we just want a website that makes research sexy.
