chrisY4 got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Design a professional and refreshing website for Wavelength

Community & Non-Profit
Wavelength extends your network so alumni can find jobs, connect with friends, find roommates, and everything in between. Organizations get up to date data on ~70% of their alumni (e.g. career, location, social profiles), without having to promote or hand hold. Administrators can accept donations, send targeted emails, and access updated data. In addition, alumni can search for other members, update their information, and donate to their organizations.
We like our current navigation structure (header, footer, organization of website). We want to tighten up the design with better padding, illustrations, and fonts. We don't want any stock images. We are trying to communicate that we are easy-to-use, reliable, new, and enduring. Any imagery / content associated with our name Wavelength or radio technology (e.g. old school radios, radio towers, frequencies) could be a jumping off point. Competitors in our space have a lot of images of alumni, which we don't like.
Homepage (https://searchwavelength.com): We want a big colorful illustration with a clear overview of what we do, a call to action, and a below the fold testimonial section. Why Wavelength (https://searchwavelength.com/features.html): This page should highlight our features, one at a time going down the page. We want to tighten up fonts / padding and eliminate stock photos. Our priority is that the sections of the page feel connected and flow well together, while still highlighting each individual feature. Pricing (https://searchwavelength.com/pricing.html): Clearly communicate our pricing, but we are pretty open to suggestions. Subfeature page(https://searchwavelength.com/search.html: Similar style to Why Wavelength, but instead of top line feature, sub feature elements. Clear call to action, more info at bottom, and links to other features. About Us (https://searchwavelength.com/about-us.html): Eliminate stock photos. Keep team photos/descriptions. Otherwise flexible.
What to avoid
Stock photos. Images of people or alumni.
Don't write copy. Please keep overall navigation structure the same. We want incremental improvements to our current website. Please make sure designs are mobile responsive.
