New t-shirt design wanted for Team Belligerati (a sailing team)

We are racing a sailboat in Europe representing the US.

We would like to make approx 10-20 T-shirts with a simple design- sailboat on the back, basset insignia on the front. The team is called "Team Belligerati" meaning we have a salty, belligerent crew. I have attached a basic logo idea for the back of the t-shirt. T-shirts look crappy with photos, so I was hoping for something more abstract/schematic. The key feature of this type of boat is the hull which is "lap-straked" ie has visible planks on the outside (key to the t-shirt design). I think black shirts with white writing/ boat would look best. On the front, a small basset which is our team mascot. USA109 on front below dog and on back below Team Belligerati (our boat number)
