joaogustavo got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Guaranteed - design a t-shirt for a textile dyeing firm from Brazil: HJ Tinturaria
Check out joaogustavo's T-shirt contest…
HJ Tinturaria is one of Brazil's leading textile dyeing and finishing companies. We strive to provide exceptional quality in textile services to our partners through identifying their needs and developing unique processes to each of them. All this is allied with the most advanced ecologically sustainable practices in the global industry. Every December we offer a commemorative t-shirt to our clients, suppliers, employees and friends. Even though this is a corporate t-shirt, the item is very well accepted and widely used because of the great materials and finishes we use on it, and most importantly because of the interesting and sometimes fun graphics we put on it. You can find pictures of our previous designs that are usually fun, like the super-man one, and also inspirational/informative about our environmental practices and great quality of work (they are usually in portuguese). We would like you to be bold, inventive and free to create something you would like to receive as a corporate gift. We know start-up t-shirts are fun because of their cool, simple and modern logos, but our logo is a bit old (we also want to rebrand our company, so here is an opportunity to show your great work), so we would like you to play around with it a little bit if you would like to. Even though we are very innovative in the textiles field, the company is entering a phase of rapid reinvention and modernisation; a step to making a Brazilian company become a global one. This year, for example, we are having cleaner designs (the t-shirt will go on a kit that's already being produced but I don't have pictures of it yet), symbolising the advances of technology, innovation, and our will to modernise the company in a minimalistic fashion. For your information, take a look at our website (use google translate if you don't understand Portuguese - we are also modernising our website soon so showcase your work here!). www.hjtinturaria.com.br And also, very importantly, to summarise what our firm is about, take a look at our corporate video (https://youtu.be/XKOBfHrqqEg), it will help you on understanding our mission, value proposition, and philosophy. The t-shirt is 100% high quality cotton, short sleeve and has to be unisex (although mostly men will receive it). Be bold! Showcase your best ideas!
The logo (but you can play around with it) or the name of the company obviously. An interesting, modern and well designed graphic - can be a play around with words, images, or any concept you might find to be interesting. Aspects of cleanness, technology (look at some start-up designs and 2015 design trends), innovation, rapidness... We would prefer text (if you'd like to play with it) in portuguese, but english might be also a good way to symbolise the new global era of the company. The tree design was made for our environmental sustainability programme, which usually is stamped small in the back of the t shirt (neck).
What to avoid
Heavy graphics and a polluted design. A lot of text (has to be easily readable)
