David1Pd got their new stationery by running a design contest:
Golden Ticket Holiday Party Project
Check out David1Pd's Stationery contest…
I would like this to be a sparkly, glittery ticket. I know little about design, so I am not sure if that is even possible for you to create, but that is idea. I want it to be 2 sided. One side will have our company logo, the date of the event (December 9th, 2017) The time is 8pm to 11pm. The location is the Downtown Marriott located at 200 W 12th Street, Kansas City, MO 64105 I have attached our logo and we will have an Open bar and light appetizers. If we can make the ticket in gold, that may look good with the green in our logo. I am not married to that, you guys are the artists and I trust your judgement. On the back, I want a saying to be printed. It is below. "An event like this reminds me of this time I jumped ship in Hong Kong and made my way over to Tibet, and got on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas. A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-lagunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but on your deathbed, you will have vivid memories of the 2017 Tallgrass Freight Holiday party at the downtown Marriott, so I've got that going for me, which is nice."- Carl Spackler
