Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our company, Palouse Heritage, celebrates the history of the unique region in Eastern Washington State called "The Palouse" (located in the Pacific Northwest of the USA) which is known for its fertile soil and beautiful rolling hills of wheat fields. Our company will be selling organic flour and craft brew malt made from ancient/heritage grains grown in the Palouse, and we will also be selling books and providing tours focusing on the history of the area.

What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I want a sheaf of wheat in black/white (and maybe green rolling hills background) with a single stalk of wheat in the sheaf in each color: gold, deep red, gray, dark blue, and purple.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
As described in the "colors" section, I would like a logo that somehow combines green rolling hills, a sheaf of wheat, and an individual stalk of wheat within that sheaf that is colored gold, another single stalk colored deep red, another one gray, another one deep blue, and another one purple. (These colors represent the different ancient grain varieties we will be selling as organic flour.) The rolling hills in the image will represent The Palouse region of Washington State (just google it to find more info on The Palouse). I am attaching a few images we drafted up ourselves to give you some ideas of how it could look. Another idea is to actually have the stalks of wheat turned horizontally and crossing in a manner that they create an image of rolling hills themselves, as one of the draft images roughly shows. Despite the variety of colors, we'd like to try to keep it clean, fairly simple, sophisticated, and have a classic/historical/heirloom/frontier feel to it. I'm excited to see what you can come up with!
