k.cooper.robles got their new signage by running a design contest:
Create a Food Truck Wrap for The Pink Walrus Frozen Yogurt
Check out k.cooper.robles's Signage contest…
We sell frozen yogurt. Our set up is self-serve, so the customer serves themselves. They fill their cup with yogurt and then adds their own toppings. We may also add on some drinks such as smoothies and lemonade.
What's your vision?
We are looking for a full vehicle wrap for our self-serve frozen yogurt food truck. We'll need something for both sides, the front, and the back of the vehicle. We are really not quite sure what we're looking for design wise. We have an actual yogurt location and our food truck is an addition. So we would like to expand on the same feel/theme/brand that is in our shop. The colors in our logo are: blue, green, a deep pink, bits of brown and orange. For our brand, we are trying to focus on a vintage California feel. Some of our designs around our shop are vintage grain photos of Santa Monica Pier. Our tag line is 'peace, love, & yogurt' which we have displayed on our yogurt wall. We have tables which are covered in bottle caps from vintage sodas. The paint colors at our shop are vintage blue and green with pops of deep pink. We use some wood grain as an accent. In the future, we would like to incorporate some vw vans, surfboards and waves. The paint colors that we used for our shop are: Sherwin Williams Gleeful 6709 (green) Sherwin Williams Refresh 6751 (blue)Sherwin Williams Coming up Roses 6585 (hot pink)Color Info for logos: Brown (CMYK: 45,67,88,55. We don't want something that looks too generic. i.e. yogurt cups all over the truck. We *might* be open to one strategically looking yogurt cup, as long as it looks classy and has personality. We obviously like to have our walrus face on each side of the truck. We had wondered about incorporating a nice wood grain, but not sure. We also wondered about a hand drawn vintage approach. Colors we would like to see: vintage blue, green, maybe splashes of deep pink. We like deep pink instead of pastel pink. We don't want pink to be the main color. Instead we would prefer it to be an accent color. We don't want something that looks too kiddish. I am a attaching a few files: our pink walrus logo, our peace, love and yogurt logo, truck images, a few photos from around our shop, the two designs for the bulkheads at our shop.
