Why ‘‘Hamour"?
‘‘Hamour’’ (Greasy Grouper) is fish locally found in the Persian gulf and Red Sea. It’s a strong fish that can withstand harsh environmental conditions: such as the high temperature of shallow water, or extreme cold, and when the clarity of sea water is disturbed, and the lack of oxygen. It can grow really big in size. In Kuwait, locals use the word ‘‘Hamour’’ to describe a person that is wealthy, successful and well-off.
