Impulse is the first album from the band Model Americans. It is a concept album that explores patriotism, war, unity, lost love, good intentions, mental illness, and the inability to be redeemed. The album's music is a cross between hard rock and psychedelic genres; some may even consider it to be heavy metal. It features guitars, bass, synth, drums, and vocals to create music that has heavier melodic undertones in a variety of tempos.
I have included the 2 little animals to express the 2 extremes, a fast and slow. A tree that keeps on rising and a flying island that wants to gain back the connection with the earth. All in a universe that is dark but yet fascinating to watch... and that is how I feel when listening to Model Americans.
