We are creating a dog treats that are very high quality natural chews (meaning they are made up of meat products, for example beef tendon jerky).
Description of the product target audience
Middle to upper income folks. Likely college educated and likely knowledge workers.

Design needs
We are launching a new dog treat brand and need designs for a stand-up pouch. Our goals for the packaging are: 1) infuse our brand values and image into our packaging. and 2) create a package that looks NOTHING like the current dog treat packaging on the shelves. This is essential. Brand Values and Image: our brand values are simplicity, healthy, and very high quality. Unique Packaging: Our inspiration is RX bar and SunBum. Both were able to take a product and create incredibly catchy, unique, and cool packaging that inspired customers shopping for a commodity to choose their brand. A simple litmus test is to check out the dog treat packaging on Chewy.com--if your design was in that product scroll and it doesn't immediately draw your attention due to its uniqueness then it's not what we are looking for. Please, be creative with it!
What to avoid
Don't make this look like other products on the shelf please! The winner will be someone who has created a truly unique packaging that is very different that what is currently on the shelves. We find RX bar's branding concept to be inspiring.
