A product label that would be placed on top of clear clamshell containers that hold the microgreens. Label will be oriented in portrait / vertically. I currently use one label for all products as we grow over 30 different varieties currently, so the new label needs to fit this format as well:
Needs to have a blank space for the variety of microgreen to be hand-written, needs to have a blank space for Harvest Date and one for weight (we typically package in 1 oz. / 4 oz. / 8 oz. quantities) as well. I have attached the current product label so you can get the idea.
In terms of shape, this is up to you, but it needs to fit within the bounds of the container lid: 5in x 4in (H X W).
For font, I leave this up to you. I have attached the style guide that I have been using, but feel free to branch out from these fonts and colors.
Here is a link to a google sheets document that I have been using for brainstorming. The first slide will have colors (in no particular order) that I have been exploring; the remainder of the slides contains images that I was able to find of other producers such as myself that I was using for competitive research.
In my brainstorming, I was thinking the use of negative space on the label would be really cool to highlight the product, instead of covering it up. I could then print the labeling on something with a transparent background.
I would also like to see something with the Dallas skyline included, to really drive home that we are a local company.
