For years our family has grown concord grape vines and has used that grape to make homemade jam. We pride ourselves on our all-natural product, with grapes that come straight from the vine and are made into a delicious jam without fillers, preservatives, or inorganic processes. Jo's Jams has a rich grape flavor because the recipe begins with our garden fresh grapes as opposed grape juice concentrate.
Our target is the sophisticated consumer that shops in high-end grocers and food specialty stores.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Please design a label for Jo's Jams
We would like to see designs that convey the boutique, high-end nature of this product. We would also like to highlight the simplicity of our recipe along with the all-natural ingredients. Since we plan on adding to our product line in the future we have considered using some type of cut away with the name so the color of the jam shows through as the color of the letters in name of the product. For example the “Jo’s Jams” on the concord grape would show the purple color of the jam, while the label for an orange marmalade would show the bright orange color of the marmalade. (this is not essential, just an idea).
Our initial plan is to start with the concord grape Jam and then expand into other flavors and ancillary products. In that respect we view "Jo's" as the umbrella brand with sub-brand relating to the specific product.
Please see the attached picture of an un-labeled jar which demonstrates the general appearance of the product. The jar we use will most likely be smooth as opposed to the “quilted pattern” shown.
