Its not a business, I need a cover for an ebook.
What's your vision?
I need a book cover for an ebook. It needs to be compatible with Amazon Kindle, Android and other such devices in which books can be downloaded. The novel is called Dark Times:Rise of the Half-Men. It's a sci-fi action thriller set three hundred years from now. It's not the type of sci-fi with spaceships, lasers or robots or any of that nonsense. It's about a world where religion is seen as a disease and people of faith are experimented on. The story concerns a rough-and-ready cop called Merrick Taylor, whose job it is is to hunt down people of faith for the Medical Division, headed by a cold ruthless woman called Dr Rona Kulley. He discovers that the world has been lied to and as a result the powers that be have made him a fugitive. The story is a loose mish-mash of 1984 and The Da Vinci Code, set in a world that resembles Bladerunner. So the themes are sci-fi (no aliens or spaceships), conspiracy, apocalyptic wars and action. Please note that this is not a horror story. Some designs I've received tend to lean towards horror, which this story is not. Images of a futuristic city, or scene of apocalyptic destruction in the background would be a very good idea. The hero, should you decide to put him on the cover, looks like Harrison Ford in Bladerunner - that type of look.
Other than the title and my name on the cover, I'd also like a quote from a writer called CM Taylor, it reads - 'An action-packed sci-fi thriller with a teasing philosophical premise.'
