Community & Non-Profit
Forum cinfo is a dynamic information and networking event for employers and job seekers in international cooperation (development cooperation, humanitarian aid, peace promotion). The broad range of exhibitors and a programme packed with presentations and discussions attract many visitors, from junior and experienced professionals in international cooperation, to potential lateral entrants, students and graduates. What Forum cinfo offers: - Exhibitors: Exhibitors at the Forum include the most important organisations in the sector: federal agencies, NGOs, UN organisations, international financial institutions, training and further education institutions, foundations, even some private sector actors. They provide information on entry, work and career opportunities - a unique opportunity for networking with interested actors and organisations. - Panel discussions: Panels of highly regarded experts facilitate discussions on the latest developments in various areas of international cooperation. Representatives from the Confederation, NGOs, multilateral organisations, training institutions and the private sector exchange views and answer questions from the floor. - Presentations: Experts give presentations addressing current issues and challenges of working in the area of international cooperation. They share their specialist knowledge, and provide insights into their field of work and information about trends and latest developments. Forum cinfo will take place on 16 November 2018 at the Stade de Suisse in Berne.
What's your vision?
We want a poster which announces the event with the following required information: - Title: Forum cinfo - Title of this years' edition: The Art of International Cooperation (this title is explained below) - When and where: 16 November 2018, Berne - Link for more information and registration: www.cinfo.ch/forum18 - Logo cinfo For the design, you are free to be creative. The poster should illustrate the 'The Art of International Cooperation'. Here is an explanation of this title: «Moving in the professional sector of humanitarian aid, development cooperation, and peace building seldom happens in straight lines. On the contrary, the shortest route from A to B is often zigzag. There are few clear entry gates and no established career paths, you have to find yours like a scout. Among the top qualities needed to work and to bloom in the sector are the abilities to listen patiently and switch perspectives, to improvise and to innovate, because current problems cannot be solved with old thinking. Everyone gets stuck once in a while, but crisis can be a springboard for opportunities. The world of international cooperation has little in common with exact sciences – it is an art. Accepting and coping with uncertainty and constant changes in the context feels a bit similar to navigating on small boats across stormy oceans. Looking actively for opportunities, steering and drifting, hoping and getting what you are looking for. Every time you reach a safe haven you will realize that what seemed like a detour was quite essential for having fun, developing personally and feeling satisfaction throughout the journey.» Thanks and good work!

Please have a look at our website to have a better idea of our design: www.cinfo.ch You will also find attached a few posters/flyers/banners our team created in the past for other smaller projects (not Forum)... but they are only examples and some of them are very simple and not creative. You are encouraged to propose something which brings an added value. Feel free to contact me if you need, for example, some photos of previous editions of Forum cinfo.
