Salida Concerts, Inc., located in Salida, Colorado has been partnering with the world famous Aspen Music Festival and School for 42 years (2018) to produce a 6 concert classical music series in Salida, Colorado, with all performers drawn from the Aspen Music Festival and School. The performers are professional musicians, teachers at the music festival, and select students. Salida, Colorado has a very large tourist presence in the summer. Our audience are locals who have been patrons for years, and visitors who happen upon the concerts. While there are a few people who come from out of town for a concert, most visitors are here for outdoor recreation (biking, hiking, rafting, kayaking) and just happen to spot an advertisement.
What's your vision?
Large Poster (11" x 16.5") - this poster will be the key advertising piece of an advertising campaign that will also include a: 1. Program Brochure Cover (7" x 8 1/2") 2. Flyer (8 1/2" by 11") 3. Rack Cards (4" x 9") There should be a design theme that will run through all the elements of our advertising campaign. All items should include the logo for Salida Concerts, Inc. and the Aspen Music Festival and School. The concerts will take place on: July 7: Orli Shaham, Pianist Underwritten by Diesslin Structures, Inc. July 14: American Brass Quintet Underwritten by High Country Bank July 21: Student String Quartet Underwritten by Collegiate Peaks Bank July 28: Student Woodwind Quintet Underwritten by Elise Backinger and Kent Strickland August 4: Leonard Bernstein one-act opera: Trouble in Tahiti Underwritten by Attorneys of Chaffee County, Colorado August 11: Hung-Kuan Chen, Pianist In Memory of Susan Williams, Underwritten by the Board of Salida Concerts, Inc. The poster must contain all the basic info of artists, underwriters, dates and times, locations of concerts, ticket prices, contact information. When moving on to other items, the program book cover only needs the basic information (see sample) All the other items need to contain the basic info, artists (subject to change), dates and times, underwriters, locations, ticket prices, contact information. Our logo is an aspen leaf and heart. The aspen leaf is there because it is an iconic tree in the Rocky Mountains, as well as referencing the Aspen Music Festival and School. The heart because the community of Salida is branded as the Heart of the Rockies (Rocky Mountains) (http://salidachamber.org/). Our logo, admittedly, needs help. This is a summer series, but the logo depicts the color of the aspen leaf in the fall. You are free to play with the color of the logo.
