The design will incorporate both the front and back of a flyer, 4x6" (post card size) that will be handed out at hip-hop concerts, music stores, etc.

Please just design the front of the postcard for the the initial contest. When I get it down to the top 2 artists, we can get into the back of the card. That way you all aren't wasting your time (too much).

Changes to the front:

1. Please add the upside down treble cleft where you see fit. It should be about the height of the logo you did such a great job with.
2. Please change the sentence to say:
TheIllist.com is the premier website for hip-hop artists to sell their songs directly to fans while showcasing their skills to key industry execs!

Backside of the flyer

I was thinking you could design the backside with a slightly different logo concept (this time with the att'd upside down treble cleft standing tall/oversized with TheIllist logo at the base of it). Then add the below text (you have already proven that you're better at configuring this than I am, so go with what you feel is best):

Rappers/MC's/DJ's/Producers:
