Website masthead needed for cattle rancher website. The site logo was recently designed here on SitePoint. The image should be similar to http://www.cattlepages.com/headerbackground.jpg but Hi-Res and not washed out.
The Cattle Pages
What's your vision?
Tagline: The Internet Guide to the Cattle Industry Desired Color Scheme: See instructions Desired Style: Cattle ranching theme. Current example at http://www.cattlepages.com/headerbackground.jpg but this image is not Hi-Res and appears washed out. Accepted File Formats: Hi-Res PSD file (with layers if available) Description: This picture should have a cattle ranching theme, with open land, possibly cattle, or cowboy and horse. If picture includes cattle, they should not have horns or be black and white. Our current photo in the masthead can be viewed at: http://www.cattlepages.com/headerbackground.jpg. This image portrays the basic idea we are looking for, but is not of high resolution and appears too washed out. You will most likely need to find a stock photo of a background, and a stock photo of a landscape image to blend and create the picture we are looking for. www.istockphotos.com has a good selection, and if you use copyrighted images in your design, please let us know so that if your entry is selected we can purchase the images. Format: Photo should be of high resolution and panoramic, so that it could fit the pixel resolution of 800w x 130h on website, but will maintain image quality when printed on a 4' tradeshow booth. Effects: Your entry should simply be a panoramic photograph, without special effects, rounded edges, etc. We are going for a "custom" stock photography type image that we can use throughout the website and its printed materials (so remember, high resolution is important). Also, do not worry about incorporating the logo, slogans, etc at this time.
