I am launching my second e-book, which will be sold directly through JobJenny.com. The e-book will be a downloadable PDF file delivered to the customer's inbox. The first ebook cover was designed to simply fit on a standard 8 1/2 x 11" printed page. I believe I need the same with this piece of art. The ebook itself will be a Word document converted to a PDF.
My e-book is called Ridiculously Awesome Resume Kit or RAR Kit. I operate a successful resume writing service that is branded as the Ridiculously Awesome Resume Service. You may review that service offering at http://www.jobjenny.com/resume-service. (If you see the "Ridiculously Awesome Resume Service" button on my home page? Ignore it -- I don't want this cover styled after that button).
This ebook is designed to teach people my formula for crafting a Ridiculously Awesome Resume - It will include my step-by-step guidance, resume samples and strategic resume advice. Send me a note if you want a copy of my first ebook -- it will give you a feel for my tone and style (but if you read a few entries on my blog, you'll get the same flavor).
Target market for this new ebook is those who feel capable of creating their own resumes, but maybe lack the direction - or- those who can't afford the hire me to actually craft a professional resume for them.
I think I want the cover to read "RAR KIT" with the words "Ridiculously Awesome Resume" in between the RAR and the KIT, but I'm not sure. I'm open to creative ideas that honor the spirit of my tone/website.
I also want the JobJenny logo (or maybe just the JobJenny.com in your chosen typeface) and "By Jenny Foss" incorporated on the cover. You can see what the first ebook cover looks like here:
I strongly encourage you to review my blog so you can get a feel for my style/tone/brand.
Please feel free to be creative. I want personality and "grab" with this, but it has to make sense with my overall brand and tone.
And no, it doesn't have to be that same vintage cartoony look as you see on the first ebook cover.
Let clean. modern. fun. be the operative words.
