Pedro Da Ros got their new app design by running a design contest:
UI Design for Real Find Objects - Mobile puzzle game
Check out Pedro Da Ros's App design contest…
Games & Recreational
The app is a simple puzzle game where you have to find the listed objects in the shortest time.
We already have the overall screenflow and all the in-game icons for the objects, and we have made a PPT and a video explaining the idea. The problem is that all our puzzles look very much alike, so for this one we want something a bit different.
Real Find Objects
More info on the attached PPT and video! Quick overview of the flow: - Main menu: user selects the difficulty level, and has a language selected (default is english). User can also remove ads there. - Select board: given the difficulty level, will show the board options for that level. Clicking on a board will start the match. - Match: A bazillion icons will appear on the match, and a random object name will appear on the top. The player must then find the object on the match screen and touch it. Upon touching a new object name will appear, etc, until the match ends. When the match ends a Trophy/Medal icon will show up and an animation will happen from this screen to the Select Board screen, showing that the player finished that board. - A dialog may appear depending on the situation to give the player an option (for example: Rate the game? Yes/No)
What to avoid
Avoid a design too similar to the sample screenshots. The select board screen for example doesnt need to have square icons to show the boards. It doesn't need to have paging also, it can be a vertical scroll, or horizontal scroll. Or something else. Be creative.
