taisehacker got their new app design by running a design contest:
SARA Concierge App Design
Check out taisehacker's App design contest…
Medical & Pharmaceutical
Sara is a concierge medicine service that solves a very critical problem in Brazil*: the scheduling of laboratory tests. The app needs to convey a sense of guidance through the steps that you must pass to make laboratory tests faster and go over the paperwork that is required to do so! Sara will connect people with schedule of several clinical laboratories, helping to choose the best brand, time, local, etc, to them. *In Brazil we don’t do clinical tests in the doctor's office, only in large laboratories.
We are looking for an award winning, distinguished design with a minimal, clean aesthetic look. Feel free to explore textures and patterns, especially when you are designing the persona of Sara. Check Mona app to see that it is very important to design the application and the logo at the same time. Because *Sara is the application ;) That's why we haven't created our own logo. * She could be a character or just a brand ( like Mona ). Sara personality: polite, dutiful, respectful (friendly, but humorless, because dealing with health is something serious) We do want the final design to be clean and easy to navigate. I've included PDFs of the 5 screens that need to be designed. So use them for content, not for creative direction. Color palette: blue and shades of gray ;) Target: people over 30
It is crucial that the user perceives that Sara is not a bot talking to him inside a chat app. Sara “IS” the app. And it is imperative that within 30s from opening the app, the user gets a crystal clear view on what Sara will give him and how it will easy his life. The 5 screens we want to see are: 1. welcome page 2. home screen (our value proposition) 3. timeline The "main" interface (think waze or Google Maps screen with the map of there you are) should relate to the user health history. Here we'de like him to see what Sara has of information about him so far. The challenge of this "health timeline" is not to intimidate. It must not appear complex or users will avoid it. 4. sara interacting in a conversation 5. conversation also has a user-posted document
What to avoid
