NutCache got their new app design by running a design contest:
Guaranteed : Time Tracker app needs a new design!!
Check out NutCache's App design contest…
Accounting & Financial
The app provides Nutcache users with a start/stop timer to track and automatically log their time into Nutcache, a free web-based invoicing and time-tracking application (www.nutcache.com).
We want the mobile app style to match the Nutcache web app style, with a slightly more lively touch based on the Nutcache website squirrel and graphics. It has to remain professional and sleek. Keep in mind that the timer will be used by professionals, freelancers and employees in companies. Nutcache website: www.nutcache.com Feel free to explore screenshots of the web application or even better, create a free account to experience it first hand.
Nutcache Time Tracker
1. The Login screen lets the user enter his account info to log in, or create an account. 2. Once logged in, the user sees the company screen, where he selects which company to access. 3. The next screen is the Inactive Timer, where the user can start the timer or change project/task information. 4. The Active Timer screen focuses on the timer: the info panel slides down to leave all the room to the timer, with possibility to log hours, reset the timer or pause the timer (making the info panel slide back up). 5. The Activity log shows already logged hours by date.
What to avoid
Although we want to keep a touch of fun with our brand's blue squirrel, we do not want a "Happy fun treehouse" or "Friends of the forest" kind of look or theme. Nutcache is a serious web application with a fun presentation.
