micmvmon got their new app design by running a design contest:
Design a beautiful mobile app (easy peasy)!
Check out micmvmon's App design contest…
We are building an app for a political consultancy in Brazil, and we need your help! The company has several reports they offer to their clients, and they are looking to build a mobile app. These reports are usually very short texts, which need to be displayed in an organized and easy to read fashion. Considering the clients of the company are all high-level executives, the app must convey an elegant and sophisticated look and feel. We are looking for something very similar to the Economist Expresso app.
The color scheme should reflect the colors of the company logo (black, red and white).
The homepage would have a photo on the top of the screen, with a date overlay on the bottom of the picture and the following sections bellow: Briefing: This is a daily update of headlines from different newspapers across the country. By Clicking on the Briefing on the homepage, the user will be taken to another page with an endless scroll of text. PDF examples of these text will be provided. Coluna das Colunas: This is a daily update/summary of different columnists from various publications. This section would behave just as the briefing – sending the user to a different page where they would have access to all the content. PDF example provided as well. Articles: This section consists of small articles that will be inserted without a particular order. No pictures, all text. Example provided. We have provided rough mockups of the organization of the Home screen, which will contain a weekly timeline of the products described above. Aside from the design of this home screen, we also need help designing the following screens: Splash screen: use your imagination, but inspired by the Economist Expresso app would be great!
