laureenCFP112 got their new menu by running a design contest:
Park Grill Menu Design
Check out laureenCFP112's Menu contest…
Our audience is locals that have grown up in area and grown up coming as kids, now bringing their own kids to the theme park. Simple but honest, friendly folk. We have lots of families, lots of young adults and teens, lots of kids, but lots of people on a fun date playing mini golf, lots of parents and grandparents with their kids.
What's your vision?
We need a menu designed for our restaurant: The Park Grille. The Park Grille sits on a 25 acre garden and themepark on Long Island. We serve really simple but great tasting, inspired comfort food, shakes and yummy scooped ice cream with loads of toppings. As you can see from attached logo set on wood, we are going for a natural, organic feel but we also want it to be fun because we have so many kids and families that come to the park and dine at the Park Grille. Would like a Trifold menu designed, preferably in a program that down the line I could edit myself like Adobe InDesign or Adobe Muse. Need this menu to be able to versatile and be shown on TV's, printed, web friendly, mobile friendly, etc. Would like an authentic rustic fun look without looking too themed or overly vintaged. Not sure if we want a brown bag kind of look, a natural material like wood background, black background or more colorful so I’m open to all your ideas. Attached is a word document with the menu and some pictures of sample menus. Thank you.
Need your terrific designs to bring the restaurant and logo to life. STYLE: Simple Food. Simple fun design. Slightly vintage but in a fresh , hip way. Look Fresh , local, organic, not processed. Not fast food like. More artisinal feel and looking for great tie in to our logo. Below are a few style examples we like. We like the wood looking or natural backgrounds with the sea glass blue , white and brown lettering etc.. I have also included a COLOR PALETTE of the restaurant so you know which colors to use. The restaurant has lots of rich woods and a large whitewashed brick wall. But the few colors and fabrics we have are from this color palette. LOGO: I prefer to use either the one on the wood background or a silhouetted version rather than the blue and green one on the draft menu.
