Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We're a European hostel chain based in Berlin, Germany. This year we want to come up with a brand new cover design to make our advertisement even more sales driven.
We're an expert in accommodating school trips, associations and sports clubs but are popular with families and city lovers (couples, friends, solo travelers).
You'll find us pretty much in every big city throughout Europe; always super close to central stations. Our vision is to offer affordable accommodation for a small budget. We welcome everybody!
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need an innovative, attention getting, sales compelling cover design for a new issue of our annual travel catalogue launching in February/March 2016. We are looking for a cover with some compelling graphic and visual ideas that will make this magazine stand out on a crowded newsstand at the ITB Berlin in March (biggest Tourism Fair in the world).
It would be great if the cover also appeals to a low-budget traveler/family/association or teacher interested in city breaks or school trips. Please match the logo as best you can, and make note of sources of any images you use in case we want to use them for the final iteration.

Our graphics department has a few specifications regarding the file:
• Cover file should be set up for InDesign CC or as IDLM file
• All colors must process CMYK
• ISO A4 paper format.
• All images should be vector or 300 dpi
• Fonts must be PC-based
• Package the file so it includes the InDesign file, fonts, and any required images as well as any special instructions
• Set the InDesign document to check links before opening the document & to find missing links before opening the document
• Please do not modify A&O logo
