Our cover design needs to reflect the type of companies and people attending this show. IMPORTANT - KEEP IN MIND While this is a TECHNOLOGY edition it is still and oil and gas edition. So we need to blend those two concepts together! OIL & GAS with TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION We know that what ever our challenges - our creativity with technology and innovation will ALWAYS prevail. How can we illustrate this concept on a cover? How can we communicate the advancement of innovation and technology in the oil and gas sector in a way that readers can't wait to find out what's inside? COVER CONTENT We could play with the word Technology Tech Knowledge Y We could also use images that communicate rapid advancement and futuristic solutions. A new energy mix is what's coming for the future including fracking, offshore, oil sands, solar, battery We could communicate this dynamic melting pot of energy solutions around the globe 3 WAYS TO SUCCEED INNOVATION TECHNOLOGY CREATIVITY And the logo and image You may use ANY type of images you need from Dreamstime. When we select the winner we can download the dreamstime image at high resolution for you. :) Lots of options. We don't like a lot on the covers - so this will be enough. NOTE: This cover should INSPIRE readers to pick it up. It's making technical oil and gas knowledge, easy to understand. It's a magazine that provided leading edge technical information but in a format that can be understood by industry and the overall consumer. So The OGM is B to B and B to C publication - as it is sold on newsstands and also sent via subscription. This cover will convey a futuristic high tech look and feel. It will jump off the shelf yet it will stay in keeping with our branding. Very simple and elegant without much text on the cover. See our covers of the past to formulate your ideas and designs. Wild and wonderful ideas could be a computer connecting with a hand or a face as if they become one. Biodegradable cellulose, a type of psedo-plastic derived from forms of plant matter. Teleportation Solar Energy Battery energy We are looking for the WOW factor. We want people to look at the cover and to say, "Wow How Clever". Look at how they integrated design elements that deliver a punch! This cover will turn heads and make people want to buy it on the news stands. I have attached previous covers, and promotional materials which we use for this OTC edition of The OGM. As well the LOGO is attached and should follow standard format.
