World Trails Film Festival
We are an emerging film festival in only it's second iteration. The World Trails Film Festival is a project of the World Trails Network. We'll be hosting the festival in Phokara Nepal as part of the World Trails Conference. The future of this event is twofold - 1. We'll host a conference-based premier wherever the conference is held - past locations = Korea, Japan, Spain.... anticipate Lebanon, Costa Rica, Chile. So, it's international and multicultural. 2. The lineup of films for this year's festival will be repackaged into an "On Tour" product that can screen anywhere a Trails.Film host wishes. Our target audience is obviously very broad. It's global. It's multi-cultural. It has strong representation from early career, mid career and retired trail sector workers and volunteers. Similar to the above description, the Trails.Film product has a two-fold audience. We firstly need to appeal to the membership and partners of the World Trails Network.....yet, by design, Trails.Film intends to reach outside of that bubble of passionate trail professionals, enthusiasts and NGO / Govt trail managers. That being said, what links the internal World Trails Network audience to the Trails.Film "On Tour" audience are attributes like: Outdoorsy, Conservation-minded, Adventurous, Thoughtful, Curious, Non-Governmental Org background, Urban Planners, some scientists, and many tourism development or travel media professionals.

Deliver all master files so that our team / future designers can easily modify. For the colors question, we paused, because we believe we'd actually like to see a few options of the logo that use several colors or a rainbow...and we selected several example logos to convey that... but it wasn't an option on the color palette selection screen. That being said, we are also keen on seeing options that complement the strong green palette employed currently by World Trails Network.

Neil Hudson is a straight shooter. He's accurate in describing how he works, timely and transparent in what he delivers. He also does an excellent job following your instructions and intent closely. The only thing I think he could improve is to share another concept early on. He needed feedback:).
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
