NordicArt was amazing to work with. First, very artistic and talented. Second, very professional. Third, went above and beyond what was asked.
In this particular case, there was an issue that arose after we selected the winning design. Due to the extenuating circumstances, we contacted 99Designs and the designer asking for a solution. We have to say overwhelmingly how both 99Designs and the designer went out of their way to make sure the issue was resolved professionally and fairly. Even though it required extra work and effort that was not part of the original "deal", both 99Designs and the designer made everything perfect. We cannot speak more highly of both parties. We would definitely recommend working with NordicArt, and we intend to work with them directly in the future on other projects. Excellent work!
Cpir was AMAZING to work with! From the start, we loved her designs and she took the time to give us so many options! It was hard to choose our favorite, but once we did, she quickly got our files ready and sent over. She was great with communication and she is very talented. We can't wait to use the new logo for our rebrand! Highly recommend!
How NVC started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
"New Valley" or just "NV"
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a gospel-centered church in Phoenix, Arizona. We are two congregations but one church with potential to plant new congregations. Our tagline is 'Authentic Community / Gospel Growth'. We believe the cross is central to every Christian. One of our congregations is in the heart of downtown Phoenix and the other one is more suburban. Our new logo needs to be a good fit for both congregations. Our website is newvalleychurch.org to give you a feel for our vision, and style.

Perhaps inspiration for an N+V+cross idea?
We want something fresh, memorable and meaningful to represent our community. We chose the name "New Valley Church" thirteen years ago because it so clearly communicated our vision-believing that that Jesus makes all things and all people new. We want to join other churches in the city of Phoenix (the Valley) in making things new. We do that through church planting (starting new churches), serving and loving the city, and working closely with other churches. We are highly networked in the city and state and love what God is doing here. We are highly connected to: http://surgenetwork.com.
While our name clearly communicates our vision, it has not been good because of name recognition. Too many churches in our context either have the word "new" or "valley" in them. We would like our new logo to be distinct and help us "stand out." We have used a logo that has mountains for several years and feel we need something different to communicate what we're about.
Our vision is "authentic community and gospel growth" and our mission is "making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ." See "newvalleychurch.org" for more on our vision/values and feel. We are open to creative ideas. Some thoughts we had were to incorporate a modern take on an ancient cross or to use the letters of New Valley (N & V) in a creative way or our name "New Valley" in a creative way. We have attached some things we like for inspiration and our existing logo. We would also like to stay away from orange.
