Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Hey everyone, thanks for all of your designs up to this point!
Update: This contest was restarted due to the selected winner disappearing from 99designs. I'm looking forward to seeing all the new designs and selecting a winner.
"bio" - dealing with living organisms, "ponics" - from the greek word labor, Bioponics can therefore be loosely defined as the labor of living organisms. It is my vision to harness the power of life to turn waste streams into sources of food and fuel, primarily in an urban environment. To do this, we will engage in activities such as vermiposting (using worms to breakdown food scraps), aquaponics (a combination of fish farming and hydroponics, where the fish waste feeds the plants and the plants clean the water for the fish), and anaerobic digestion (using bacteria to breakdown waste and generate methane). We will initially focus on providing supplies and services to the aquaponics industry such as baby fish, fish food, consultation, etc. and then branch into the other areas mentioned.

Logo types to explore

I'm not much of the artistic type, so i'm hoping you artists are able to think of something creative. The first thing that comes to mind are the words "Urban Bioponics" with a simple skyline (of Philadelphia preferably) directly above, with some sort of green plant above the skyline, and perhaps something below the words "Urban Bioponics" to symbolize waste. For more inspiration, google image "aquaponics logo". I'm a fan of most of these.
