Steve Sereboff got their new logo design by running a design contest:
University Club at the Riviera Mansion
Check out Steve Sereboff's Logo design contest…
This logo is for The University Club of Santa Barbara, which is located at the historic Riviera Mansion in Santa Barbara, California. The University Club, now celebrating 100 years, is a social club, akin to a golf club but without the golf course. We have regular member events, as well as lunch daily and dinner every Friday night. Our members are all university graduates, and many hold graduate degrees and are professionals. Many of the local judges and elected officials are members. The Riviera Mansion is a famous events venue which is marketed toward non-members. It is especially popular for weddings, though we also host a lot of corporate events. The Riviera Mansion has an array of rooms, large and small, as well as outdoor spaces.
Our logo needs to serve two audiences: 1. members and prospective members of The University Club, and 2. customers and guests of the Riviera Mansion. The website for The University Club is https://www.uclubsb.org/ The website for the Riviera Mansion is https://www.rivieramansionwedding.com/ The current logo is on the uClub website, and it is dreadful. The old logo is attached.
