Troubadour Games designs and sells board games, card games, and game apps, with a strong emphasis on immersion into the theme and environment. The name was chosen to be suggestive of a storytelling motif; we want our customers to have gaming experiences that allow them to channel their “inner hero.” Our target audience is principally the gaming enthusiast, with some crossover into the casual gaming market.

We feel we’ve provided a pretty good idea of what we *think* we are looking for, but we don’t want to slam the door on creativity. We struggled with a pure silhouette image or not; we’d love for the troubadour character to have a sheathed sword if it could be worked gracefully into the image. We are looking for Troubadour with character, and are averse to anything whimsical. The storytelling idea is central to who we are as a company. Also, in terms of fonts: we really like a font called KellsFLF (fontspace.com and other places) – we looked at a lot of uncial and half-uncial fonts to get the right shape for certain letters, such as the “a”, “b” & “d”, “R”, and of course, the capital “T”.
