Robert was a pleasure to work with - he was responsive, had great ideas and there was a log of thought behind his designs. I asked for tons of changes and he did them all and then some. I'll definitely be coming back to him if I need further design work.
This guy is something special. A pleasure to work with and met all my expectations. The process was smooth and easy. Thank you my friend. A++

I don't know if we'd want to use this but there is a town logo - "A drinking village with a fishing problem."

This project entails creating a logo for a charming fishing village located on the coast about an hour and a half north of San Francisco. We are looking to "brand" the town starting with creating a logo to be used on various merchandise, apparel, etc. Following the logo design, there will be many other design project opportunities for various merchandising and collateral including website design, etc.

To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The town has a little bit of an industrial feel due to it still being a working fishing village. Additionally, there is nature everywhere and a lot of birds - In fact, Alfred's Hitchcock's movie "The Birds" was filmed here.
We are trying to elevate the town's profile and give it a more sophisticated vibe.
I've attached some additional images as inspiration - looking for elegant font with some childlike imagination that is simple with a twist. Looking to incorporate Bodega Bay or "BB" alongside the whale in a subtle or cheeky way. Also, a vintage 1930s vibe slightly modernized might work well.
