How beegreenconsult started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
BeeGreen Consulting is a Mechanical and Electrical design (building services) company working with Buildings, Energy and Environments (BEE), with sustainable (Green) design principals at its core . The 'BEE' is also a tribute to Manchester's iconic worker bee, where this start-up has began. When 'BEE' is put together with the word 'Green', the message is to 'be green' through sustainable design. Typical clients will be architectural firms and Mechanical and Electrical installation contractors, hence selecting architecture as the industry selection. Therefore I would like a professional logo.

I would like the logo to be modern, sharp and sophisticated, and ideally have a maximum of two colours, as I feel this is more professional. I don't want anything playful - so no flying honey bee's please! However, I would be open to the incorporation of a hexagon/ honeycomb shape, as it is a sustainable structure. The image will be used for report headers, email signatures, drawing templates, website, business cards and social media etc., so I would like a variety of sizes when selecting the preferred option, and high resolution images - 300dpi. The logo should also look good when printed in back-and-while, as my clients are likely to print reports and drawings in back-and-white, in addition to colour. Lastly, I think the 'BEE' would look good with the colour back, and the 'Green' with the colour green.
