oldrichvalleyfarm got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Rustic sign logo for Old Rich Valley Farm

From our family to yours
We are farmers selling directly to the consumer. We sell pastured chicken, grass-fed beef, and grain finished beef (planning to add pigs and eggs soon). We sell at farmers markets, farm store, and online to our community (Rich Valley, VA)
When driving to our farm there is a dark green wooden sign with white (or yellow) letters that say Welcome to Rich Valley. We thought it might be neat to have our logo look like a rustic sign. Possibly even on a old fence post. We want something fairly simple and rustic. We don't want tractors or specific animals that might box our brand in. We do live in a valley with mountains on either side. We are a young family farm. The original Rich Valley sign is rectangular and the words are in all caps. (we are open to a different shaped sign too, possibly rounded top)

Indra is a really talented artist - he gave us 5 or 6 concepts, any one of which could have worked well for us. Really captured the look we were going for. I'll definitely contact him again for more work.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
