Monkey-Mother has been fantastic to work with! She is quick, responsive, and works hard to understand your concept and ideas, also bringing forward excellent suggestions. We are thrilled with her finished work for us, and will defiantly work with her again. Thanks for an excellent job, and being so easy to work with!

How charlotteingols started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Restaurant Gîte du Prilet
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Le Prilet is a historic old mountain chalet turned restaurant and B&B, tucked away at the bottom of a ski hill in St.-Luc, Switzerland. The restaurant serves traditional Swiss fare, such as fondue and raclette, in a warm, inviting atmosphere enjoyed by both locals and tourists alike. Skiers can warm up after hitting the slopes in the winter, and hikers stop in for a beer after a long hike up the mountain. There are 6 cozy rooms above the restaurant that make guests feel like they are truly in an old chalet. We are traditional, yet unpretentious, with a modern flare.

It is important that the logo illustrates a sense of place (ie. Swiss mountains, the Valais region of Switzerland, traditional chalet tucked away in the mountains at the bottom of a ski slope, etc). People come to Le Prilet to get the real Swiss chalet experience, but it is enjoyed equally by locals because of its authentic atmosphere. I would like for the designer to incorporate the look of "swiss decoupage" - you can see what I mean if you google it. You can also look at the current website for photos and the old logo (all of which will change) to get an idea of the place. http://www.prilet.ch. Thank you!
