ZNICK needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 121 designs submitted by 33 freelance designers.
I am seeking a clean, memorable logo for use on websites and business cards. It should enforce that our info-products and ideas teach you how to "do" whatever it is the product addresses. (buy a house, market your website, etc)
Ideatrak (can change upper and lower case individual letters)
Tagline:
Get on Trak (not needed in the logo)
Desired Color Scheme:
Prefer colors easily reproduced/copied. I have no specific choice at this time.
Desired Style:
Can be classy or even cartoonish. Please be creative.
Accepted File Formats:
Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai)
I am seeking a logo for use on websites, business cards, and possibly a newsletter. I have some ideas, but am relatively flexible. If I knew exactly what I wanted I would have done it already myself, hehe.
This is a new company, so I am open to all ideas.
The name of the company is Ideatrak LLC. The logo can have "LLC" included, but it is definitely NOT required. I wouldn't mind it to be able to be used with and/or without "LLC" eventually.
I would be open to "classy" as well as "cartoonish" or anything in between. I can go in almost any direction, and would like to see a few different concepts.
I would like to see a logo idea with a Light Bulb included to signify an "idea", (a smile on it and/or it giving a "thumbs up" may be interesting) . This is NOT required though. You guys are much more creative than I am, so don't feel it's a requirement... it's just something I thought of, so please don't just give me 20 of those to pick from.
I prefer the design be not too intricate, so if shrunk it can still be clearly seen.
I may add a slogan/tagline at a later date including "Get on Trak", or something similar, so something depicting tracks or "direction" may work. Right now, I don't feel the tagline needs to be a part of the logo itself, although I'm flexible.
I am open to color suggestions, but would like it to work in black and white as well. I may ask to see the design in a different color scheme as part of my feedback.
I feel more of a horizontal look will work better than vertical or square, although it does not have to be a straight-line logo whatsoever.
I will definitely give feedback... also, PLEASE ask questions here or by e-mail if it will help you be more creative.
