WealthCycles
We are an economic education company. We focus on teaching economics and long term investing to beginners to the investing world.
Our site (http://wealthcycles.com) is geared towards individuals who are seeking to understand the economy and investing.
There are a lot of economic and investing websites out there. Most sites assume you are an expert or at least know what they are talking about. We are different from them in that we focus on introducing these very complex subjects to beginners and showing them the connections between the complex subjects. If we do venture into the more complex we make sure to define our terms and make the subjects as easy to understand as possible.
Thus the logo should be seen as friendly and not intimidating. Perhaps the use of bigger letters and rounded edges could help.
Also the logo can have cycles in the background or as a main component. By cycles we do not mean a circular logo. Rather, imagine plotting prices that go up and down on a graph. The image "Cycles Example Basic" will give you the baseline idea of what we mean. Also Cycles Example 1 & 2 give you the nicer image of what we mean.
Below is the "typical" user for WealthCylces.com -
John Doe is 30 years old and lives in a suburban community. He is not wealthy, but makes enough to get by. Most of his life he has worked hard and done everything he is 'suppose' to do. In the last 5 years he has been introduced to concepts of investing outside of his 401K and IRA. Since then, he has become very interested in economics, investing, precious metals, and long term investing (wealthcycles). He reads economic newsletters' and a few economically focused newspapers (ex. WSJ) and books (ex. Guide to Investing in Gold and Silver). While he is pessimistic about the future of the country and/or economy, due in part to some of his libertarian views, he is optimistic personally because he believes his precious metals investments will pay him off several fold. Most people would consider him a normal guy, perhaps a bit of risk taker, but overall a good guy with some borderline conspiratorial theories.
