Hairbyrochelle got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New logo wanted for hairbyrochelle (There are no capitals and there are no spaces in between the words. I purposely did that.)

Cosmetics & Beauty
I am a freelance hairstylist, specializing in styling, braids, and up-dos. I market mainly to brides-to-be / the wedding market, and also market myself as a stylist for other things such as fashion shoots, proms, headshots, etc.
Logo types to explore
My target audience is women, recently engaged, age 18-40. Typically the demographic that reaches out to me has an income range of middle to lower class, but I have done a few very lavish weddings with a huge budget. I travel to the bride-to-be before her wedding for an initial consultation and trial-run hair do, I promptly answer her emails and/or have face-to-face correspondence, advise and suggest on the hairstyle(s) that would best suit the bride/bridesmaids, and travel to the bridal party on the wedding day to do hair on-site. I pride myself with personal, friendly, competitively priced service that cannot be found elsewhere. I think that a simple, yet creative logo is what will appeal to my customers. I do not want it to be too intricate or a mind-teaser (wait, is that a letter? or a number? ohhh-- its an animal? maybe?) When looking for inspiration, I liked logos that have a picture separate from the business name, where the picture is the focal point and the company name is smaller and simply put. HOWEVER, that does not have to be the final say for my logo. I'm open to anything!
