Catarina did a fantastic job. Love her design! She took the time to re-work my nit-picking demands for tweaks and came up with just what I wanted. I realize it's hard for designers to put up with clients ;o) but she did very well.
Butterflyiva is great to work with and a talented designer. She was very patient with me and I will definitely refer and work with her again.
How Simon201130 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
The Antonino Museum
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This is a forthcoming art museum for an unknown painter. For examples of his work, see http://www.antoninomuseum.com.
Audience will include (for the bricks and mortar side) relaxed, cultured tourists visiting the Loire Valley region of France, art enthusiasts, kids dragged there by their parents, and (for the virtual side), lovers of modern, figurative, naïve/surreal, transgenic art, Brazilianophiles, and other artists.
I'm looking for a powerful, clear, striking logo. It must be clearly legible and, ideally, should be scalable down to a favicon too, but if this prevents good design, good design comes first.
Most everybody hates the term "museum" (for being old and musty, yeah, ahem, like the Guggenheim or the MoMA etc.), but as long as I or the painter live this one will be a never-ending spectacle of beauty, change and amazement.
Some logos I have liked are on http://damnwonderfulthings.blogspot…igns.html;http://webexpedition18.com/articles…tup-logos/
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The current website color scheme is sort of default, and can/will be changed to fit. Font must be immediately readable. Examples given with no great conviction, I'm not the designer. Please try to reflect the artist's style. My current logo is my day-to-day business, just for you to get a feel.Note, I included the fuel85 logo for the luminous drop effect
