New Logo for Online Travel Agency Startup

Dear Designer, We are about to launch a new brand for our Online Travel Agency, to compete with the big players in our market. Our new website will focus in hotel room reservations, car rental, airport transfers, tour guides, etc. Our company has 30 years experience in the travel business, already as a major supplier for standard and premium travel agencies (B2B). Now we are about to start this new brand to make our services directly available for the end user (traveler). We are building a solid marketing strategy to compete in the B2C format, and we strongly believe in the power of great logo design in this battle for market share. ========== We need a clean, memorable design, that can share the company style at one glance. A modern looking website will be our home. LOGO ELEMENTS: The logo has to communicate the website "hoteis.express" (hoteis being plural for hotel in portuguese and .express is the domain) and it has to have a recognizable icon to be used mainly in the smartphone app we are developing (that must be take into account when picking a catchy duo or trio color scheme, proportions and contrast) It is very important to us that the logo is easily readable as it says the website itself. Design suggestions: - One or two colors maximum - No shades - No 3D effects - A flat and clean icon - Well balanced visual proportions - Professional but modern looking (to communicate a solid company, as there are many scammers in this market). ======== We need to look big from the beginning. Our customers have a ton of websites to look for when searching for travel services. Our company will be in the field of well stablished websites like: www.booking.com / www.expedia.com / www.decolar.com / www.hoteis.com / www.trivago.com / and many others that are selling similar products. So the logo has to feel part of this group and relevant between them, but with a twist: Our main competitive advantage is the quality of the services we provide matched with an unparalleled customer support we are known for, so we want to have a tech company visual approach, where the design (website, logo, stationary, Instagram, email marketing, office space, etc.) will be clearly taken care of, as it must be a translation of our beliefs. Companies that inspire us in this new branding / design language are: Nubank iFood AirBnb Pipefy Wix Havaianas We want a bright, bold, maybe neon color to build the branding upon. We thought of purple, pink or magenta to express this modern, contemporary, tech company feel that this young Brazilian customers generation is readily embracing. The recent business that are rapidly growing in Brazil, are exactly the ones who invest in this vibrant, connected, "start up company" concept that we want to communicate through our design / branding.
