vey09 was very hard working and professional. If you like clean, modern design then you need to work with this guy!
The design was great! It came along with the requirements and worked to express themselves a little beyond just the functional asks.
How Go dine Ltd started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
Not in the main design. Will be used on business cards: "Where smart diners go!" - can show as extra concept if you wish. Main logo needs to be kept simple enough to accommodate in other brand material. Main logo is for use on website.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Online restaurant booking guide. We showcase 1,300 restaurants and provide everything under one roof, offers, menus, photos, reviews and more. The service is for helping people find and book a good restaurant for their needs. Our service is becoming very personable - we offer tailored help and advise from dedicated advisor's on restaurants in the area. A lot of our traffic is from first-time users visiting the city so first impressions and buying into the brand / service is key. We are technical and modern company.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Food & Drink
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.
Purples: Imagination, spirituality, royalty and luxury.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Have a look at our website - http://www.godine.co.uk. This is where 99% of people will see it so has to work here 100%. When used as a web logo if the detail is too precise it will be lost.
I like red. Research that red makes people hungry and is great for food related brands. We use blue but this is not commonly found in food! Needs to be a logo that looks great at different sizes and is used online predominantly. Our customer base is 60% female and average audience age is between 25-38.
I want to be able to read the logo as words but for those words to incorporate subtle effects that tie in with brand and eating out. As mentioned I like red, but off-red is of interest with hues of pink or orange so it is not pure red.
